World Water Day-March 22 (Better Water, Better Jobs)
March 22 marks the annual celebration for the sustainable management of the freshwater resources. The day was firstly designated by the UN General Assembly in the year 1993 and it has been held annually since then. Each year the day is observed with an annual theme. For the year 2016, the theme is – Better Water, Better Jobs which shows a correlation between the water and the jobs created using the water sources across the globe.
Water is the fundamental need of human beings. So, on this day we all must take an action to make a difference by doing a sustainable development of this ‘life saving agent’ by doing its efficient utilzation.
