National Immunization Day (March 16)- End Polio Now
India observes National Immunization Day on March 16 every year. National Immunization Day was first observed on 16th March 1995 when first dose of Oral Polio Vaccine was given. The day has a huge significance; various events are organized throughout the country to unfurl and proliferate the awareness regarding the polio. On this day, millions of children are inoculated against polio.
Although our country continues to be vigilant to prevent the entry of the polio virus but let’s intensify the eradication of polio by urging every individual to immunize the toddlers so that our planet becomes polio free.
